Simone joined Bushfire Prone Planning in 2025, bringing over 23 years of experience in work health and safety across the mining and construction sectors. She holds formal qualifications in bushfire management and work health and safety and is a certified Lead Auditor in WHS.
Simone has led the implementation of WHS management systems and infrastructure for major gold, ore, mineral sands, and lithium projects, with a strong focus on contractor mobilisation and risk management. She is highly skilled in communicating complex legal and regulatory requirements to diverse stakeholders and has managed workers’ compensation processes with precision and care. More recently, Simone has expanded her professional scope into bushfire consultancy and serves as a volunteer firefighter—demonstrating her ongoing commitment to safety, risk mitigation, and bushfire management.
