This project supports the growing community desire for quality and affordable tourism accommodation options in the South-West of Western Australia.
Our Scope
Our involvement included:

- Detailed bushfire hazard assessment of the site and surrounding landscape
- Ongoing liaison with planners, design consultants, and decision-making authorities
- BAL assessment and BAL Contour mapping
- Establishment of Asset Protection Zones (APZs)
- Access and egress assessment in accordance with Planning for Bushfire Guidelines
- Water supply and emergency response considerations
Following approval of the development by the City of Busselton, we were further engaged to prepare separate BAL Assessment Reports and Certificates (to support the Building Permit application process), ensuring the building works could be developed in compliance with local and state bushfire planning and building requirements.
