His background includes roles such as Fire Control Officer, Brigade Training Officer, and DFES Trainer Assessor, as well as leadership positions like Captain of the Emergency Support Brigade and First Lieutenant at the Jarrahdale Volunteer Bushfire Brigade.
David’s expertise spans all phases of emergency management—Prevention, Preparedness, Response, and Recovery—complemented by formal qualifications and practical skills in incident control, logistics, planning, and training delivery.
